Richard Alexander Lanehart begins with residential painting and wallpaper installation.
- 1910
Baton Rouge
The company moves to Convention Street and begins its Louisiana story.

A second generation
Adam Lanehart expands the work into light commercial projects.
- 1976
Commercial only
Lanehart Inc. becomes a commercial painting contractor.
- 1993
South Baton Rouge
The company moves to its present-day Baton Rouge location.
- 2001
New Orleans division
A dedicated division opens to serve New Orleans and the surrounding region.

Fifth generation
Scott Lanehart becomes President.

Mandeville office
